Cook County Energy Efficiency Program
The Delta Institute is administering Cook County’s Energy Efficiency Conservation Block Grant (EECBG). This $2.5 million in federal funding will help businesses, non-profits, and places of worship save energy and save money.
ARRA funding for this program has been exausted at this time. Delta is currently seeking funds to continue this work. If you are interested in getting on our waiting list, let us know by filling out an application.
Eligible businesses/organizations receive:
- Free energy audit with analysis or an indepth steam boiler system analysis;
- Free energy efficiency implementation assistance; and
- Free assistance obtaining government and utility incentives.
Additional opportunities include:
- Free retro-commissioning grants;
- Free direct-installation services; and
- Access to energy efficiency financing.
Financing opportunities are available through Delta in partnership with GreenChoice Bank. We are offering flexible loans to businesses/organizations interested in investing in their energy-saving capacity. Eligibility and financial underwriting restrictions apply.
