The Center will provide support to Green Exchange tenants and other businesses that are interested in participating in the emerging green economy by providing training and technical assistance on a range of topics including options for green product certification, buyer and supplier networks, measuring and reducing a business’s carbon footprint and other sustainability topics. Green Business Development Center staff will also establish a resource and referral network to connect businesses to other resource organizations as well as recruit mentors and volunteers to help Green Business Development Center customers achieve their goals.
In addition to operating the Green Business Development Center, Delta will provide overall management for the Shared Office Space. All tenants of the Shared Office Space will benefit from a variety of unique features including flexible terms with turn-key operations and a variety of services specially designed for individuals and small companies. The comfortable and inviting venue encourages idea and resource sharing. The Shared Office Space tenants will also be able to take advantage of the marketing opportunities provided by Green Exchange, including placement on the website, direct marketing via the Green Exchange newsletter delivered to more than 10,000 green businesses and consumers on a monthly basis, as well as PR support to gain local and national media coverage.
