US EPA Awards Delta Institute $200,000 Great Lakes Restoration Initiative Grant

CHICAGO – Delta Institute has been awarded a grant of $200,000 from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in recognition of the success of its Lake Michigan Forum and Lake Michigan Watershed Academy.  Announced today by Susan Hedman, U.S. EPA Great Lakes National Program Manager, this grant will enable Delta Institute to continue its 10 years of work with a broad range of stakeholders in the Lake Michigan basin to implement a Lakewide Management Plan.

The Delta Institute is pleased to announce the advancement of two of our dedicated staff members and to welcome a new member to the Delta family.

Kindy Kruller was named Community Development Program Director, responsible for managing Delta's multi-disciplinary efforts to rebuild and revitalize communities throughout the Great Lakes region.
